Mango -The most annoying fruit in the world

My mates gone working around the country for a week or 2 so i thought id eat his mangos, it does say eat within 3 days on them and he did eat my pizzas anyway!

Earlier I put one in the smoothie maker, I cut it in half and spooned out all i could then at around the stone. This left loads of mango in my teeth which i didnt properly get out even after using floss for ages.

Just eaten the other one and i cut it in half again but couldnt get around the large stone in the middle, however it was too nice to waste so i peeled off the skin and then ate around the stone. Again I got loads of bits stuck in my teeth and have just spent 15mins cleaning bits out of them and my bottome teeth feel all wierd and far apart.

How the hell do you eat mango without getting crap stuck in your teeth?

Don't eat the bit around the stone, concentrate on the flesh which is smoth and not stringy.

yeh just looked about how to cut one, 2 halves then down the sides. Didnt even know there was a stone in the to be honest. Ive only ever eaten it when it was pre cut or into shapes and things

After making it in 3 pieces, the 2 flesh sides, slice a grid into it, and push it upwards from the skin so it "pop" out and eat without mess.

The Stone you'll still have to use hands and eat it over a sink or something.

More on topic, I don't really like very ripe mangoes. I like them just slightly ripe with a bit of crunch. I also like slightly green mangoes in salad - salt, vinegar, chilli. The latter is delightful.
