Has anyone tried this game out I've played it quite sick really can see why it was banned (I've played a uncut version) Will not talk about how I got it has anyone else played it and wanna share their views bout all the hoohar bout this game being banned?

Reckon there be any chance of this game coming out in the UK?
 
I played the uncensored version, beta I think it was

It was okay, i liked the executions.. now that its censored i wouldnt even bother, the whole game is ment to be murder :|
 
I got this version for the PSP, finished the first level can see why its banned reckon Rockstar shoulda left it at the first one I played a few levels of that. Don't get me wrong the game don't bother me in anyway just wanted other peoples views
 
It's not technically been banned, just refused a BBFC Classification, which makes it illegal to sell ;)

Unfortunately it was a matter of time before another game got banned (the last I remember being the 4-player shock-fest ThrillKill). I think rather than the graphic nature of the game, it's the overall tone of : see guy, rips guys testes off with claw hammer, rinse, repeat, rather than any real objective, or contextual based gameplay.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the BBFC for their doing here (or indeed any of the other international classification boards refusing to issue a classification), but I think the game possibly does ever so slightly overstep the mark.
 
I absolutely loved the first game and thought it was very innovative, but from the reviews I've read the sequel takes a step backwards and it doesn't interest me as much now. You can still import it easily enough if you want it, if you know the right shops to get it from.
 
I can't really see the difrence in these types of games compared to films like hostel and Saw. apart from you get to play the person killing instead of watching

I think the point is that a lot of shops don't check the age of the people buying it, so the risk is that it'll fall into the hands of those who are under 18.

Not that they wouldn't just download it anyway, but it's still a risk I guess.
 
I just watched a video on the web to see what its all about, and came across one with manhunt executions, which was pretty sick.

Still what was the gameplay of it like

Sorry, but that's rubbish really. The large majority of shops will ask for ID, especially if it's an 18.
 
What do you do in the game? I know you kill people but what is the point of the game?:confused:
 
a lot of people who havnt played it seem to just think its mindless killing, that you go around killing anyone you like, but if its anything like the first one, all your trying to do is survive from lots of people who are trying to kill you, and te stealth gameplay was actually pretty good, similar to hitman imo.
