Manipulation of search results.

To put it simply I've got 2,500+ PDF files 300-1700mb which are in need of compression. They're probably spread over 1500 folders, doing it folder by folder is not an option.

I can do a search for anything greater than say...10mb but can't do anything with the results, copy/paste drag/drop, compress...nothing!

Ideally I'd like to stick them all on a USB HDD before compression for backup purposes (quality of A0 drawings etc, have tested but some could be different)

Ideas?

You going to need to do some scripting. Finding files based on attributes and then feeding those results to a compression tool is fairly standard stuff. Google is your friend.
