Manjaro Linux?

Anything Arch-based will never be as easy as Ubuntu, though that isn't to say that Manjaro and Antergos are difficult as such. Ubuntu's support out there is insane, and packages are ALWAYS available for it if not the other larger distros as well (Red Hat family). Keep in mind that Ubuntu primarily relies on its huge repositories, and it's easy to add additional PPAs where and when required. Arch relies on AUR for this stuff, which is a little more difficult as it's manual building (but still easy).
From what I've heard, Manjaro's security isn't great, however I know no further details at all.
Additionally, you're dealing with the bleeding edge, so don't expect Arch-based distros to be free of issues (that said, issues will be easy to fix and brilliantly documented).

I found Manjaro to be quick and stable. However prefer Ubuntu based distros for easy of use and stability over the long term.
What's quite interesting is that it's clear that all the Ubuntu hate is derived from the early Unity days, back when Mint came about. Truth be told I've not used early Unity releases and I come from OS X (Linux on the desktop isn't new to me however it's never been my primary OS until now), however I've found it to be a similar experience with more intelligent window management, reliability and speed.
Little things, such as opening multiple terminal windows, and it'll effectively tile them and pay attention to what you currently have open (it won't open windows on top of what's already there). Little things that really help.
Haven't tried Manjaro however Antergos is alright. Didn't play well with Nvidia drivers though. I do agree with "the Arch way" if you have time and are willing to dedicate effort to doing a proper install.
