Manjaro vs Big Linux?

I already have Manjaro, but recently watched vids. on Big Linux. Haven't found any vs vids though. I am wanting to know the differences. Found a vid. saying you can have more DEs on Manjaro, he is like it is very easy, but doesn't say how.

Go to package manager it type th DE you want and install the normal way.

The reply I got on the Manjaro forum was if it is from GTK DE to GTK DE/QT to QT it will be ok, but if it is GTK > QT or the other way it will cause issues.
