Thats pretty impressive stuff and makes you proud to be human, but what happens now does it go on to infinity? What general direction is it headed is it aimed for any particular direction?

Pretty much and as there is no friction etc in space it will just keep going unless its gets caught by a passing objects gravitational pull.

It'll come back round and hit the other side of the earth, And we'll have to rethink the universe after finding out its round

Amazing. Also puts the vastness of the universe into perspective - that thing was launched when I was 3 years old, it's traveling at 10km/s, and has only just reached the edge of our solar system. If you were to look at a picture of our galaxy, you wouldn't even be able to resolve that distance. Then zoom out and see where our galaxy sits amongst all the others, itself insignificant. Just wow....and stuff.
