It's not a manned mission and there's already a thread.

moons a waste of time so is ISS and any human space flight.
spend all the budget research propulsion might be more efficient and trying to find an actual worthwhile place to go instead of barren rocks
Yep, no Helium 3 on the moon. You heard it here first.

Apparently they're sending up mannequins with radiation sensors on them to see if the personal shielding works.

Seems odd that ol' Buzz and Neil are/were kicking around, absolutely fine, for years. Has something changed in the Van Allen belts?

Yea, ol' Buzz and Neil had no plans for long-term missions whereas the return to the moon does so we need to understand the effects of radiation on the human body so calulations can be made of how those long-term missions will effect people, including women who are more susceptible to radiation and last time i checked ol' Buzz and Neil didn't have boobs.
Having humans land on anything other than the Earth will 'was' be a monumental achievement.

Hopefully I'll see it 'again' within my lifetime.
FTFY.
