mantle?

i havnt decided yet wether im going to get a couple of r9 280x card or a single 7990
but i was just wondering will i able to use mantle with these cards? i ask because im running an i7 4770k and i read somewhere that AMD might be making so you need an AMD CPU but it wasnt very clear as to wether that was infact the case or not and i cant seem to find any information on it so just wondering if anybody knows

Pretty sure that mantle will run on anything that uses the GCN architecture, so you will be fine with either card.

Yeah, it'll run with any 7xxx card or 2xx.

so my i7 isnt going to be a problem and i dont need to rush out and buy an fx 8350? lol

Your CPU will not be a problem, Mantel should allow all CPU's to have less overhead bogging it down no matter AMD or Intel.
