I can't say that I have ever even heard the term or seen a bloke in a skirt who isn't already completely done up like a woman.

I'm quite happy to feel old if this is what todays youth is wearing :/

I had a peasant skirt while I was in uni. Ankle-length heavy cotton, legendary slobbing gear but only worn to the pub during times of desperate need or extreme hilarity.
