ManU vs Europe.



Really good match for a friendly. Particularly the first half before Roo and Ronny left the pitch. Atmosphere was lacking at the Stretford end but it was all parents and young kiddies. People not standing up for goals or applauding got on my **** though...

Couple of funny moments - Ibrahimovich claiming he'd meant to hit the crossbar and Neville saying 'Did you see that?!' after Ronny's free kick

Awesome performances from Heinze, Scholes, Park, Ronaldo, Larsson and Rooney. Both Heinze and Larsson were brilliant off the ball as well, Larsson's runs were really dynamic. Dong and Eagles both looked really sharp as well, and great to see Smithy get ninety. Heinze at CB was nice to see for us as well.

Beckham's speech at half time had me a bit choked up - can't believe it wasn't shown on TV. Solskjaer bringing out the European Cup at the start of the match was a special moment as well.

The Euro XI was a bit of a letdown as we only found out how significantly it had been cut down when the players ran out. Juninho, Casillas, fat Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were all big misses :(

All in all a really enjoyable match :D

I was on the NE stand, the area was really alive however the Mexican wave got a bit tiresome after the 20th round :D

Really open game just what you wanted really. Was a good night :) Will keep the complimentary match programme and ticket, never know may be worth something on fleabay ;)
