Customer wants me to look into converting his window winders in his e-type to electric. He says 15-20 years ago you could get electric winders which mounted onto existing manual winders. With the winder handle removed there is a large nut about the size of an old 50p piece.

Anyone seen or heard of these?

Also need door mirrors as close to original style as possible in stainless steel for the E-Type and a Ferrari Dino 246 GT any sites recommended for this type of thing?
 
Well we fitted electric windows to my dad's 1934 Ford but gawd knows where the kit came from; was over 10 years ago now. It was probably from Summit, So Cal Speed Shop or someone like that. Go down to WHSmith and pick a copy of Street Rodder and there are quite a few American companies advertising that sort of stuff. Quite a few importers over here too, if you don't want to bring it in yourself. Marco at Juarez and Geordie Paul at Duksville are a start :)
