Manufacturer Refurbs - Worth It?

Assuming PSU manufacturer refurbs come with a warranty of at least 12 months are they worth considering or should they be avoided as something that may be more likely to malfunction or fail?

Depends on the manufacturer, model plus the saving over new and whether you want to risk having a much reduced warranty. Personally I wouldn't buy a refurbished unit. It's most likely already failed once before plus from what I have seen at other retailers the savings are not that big when compared to a brand new unit with a full warranty.
