Many dead pixels on my OLED

So I was up close to the OLED cleaning and I noticed a scratch on the tv (clearly my 16 month old has whacked it), but also there is dead pixels around it. However looking over the screen I can see there are stuck/dead pixels spreading all over.

A pixel refresher did help but hasn't got rid of them all.

In developer menu I've got HDR Module ON and two tiger options, TCP and GS something I can't remember the exact names but they're two things you do to help avoid OLED dimming to some degree.

Will these settings changes contribute to dead pixels or is it just a thing that happens with OLED? It's already out of warranty.

I feel your pain with the scratch. My 3 year old at the time scratched a perfect grey scale replacement OLED C8 screen 2 weeks after it was fitted by LG replacing a 10 month old substandard screen. Sods law as they say.

Turning those settings off are more likely to contribute to burn in than dead pixels.

The whack your toddler did probably damaged it and it'll gradually get worse.
It won't let me email you....

I've got a LG65CX looking to upgrade to a 83A90J or a 77C2. Do you still use them, if so are you happy with them? would you recommend the A90J or your 77C2?

The other weird thing is I'm struggling to find any decent stand with the dimensions of the Sony in full stand mode.

Sorry for thread hijack.
