Many Jasper 360's about?

Hi lads after my first 360 died after doing Xclamp mod and then the last try stick in the oven for 4 mins which did get it going for 4 days..... it died last week, so i thought i'd get a new 360 then came across this Jasper unit but was told there not out till March or so.
So just went searching about different shops but had no luck or no one in the shops had a clue which one they were selling.

So i just picked an Arcade unit up then got back home set it up then checked the voltage of this new console and it says 12.1

and the power brick also says 150w

any else got one? hope this one last's longer

Picked one up today

(Arcade to replace a Pro)

After my launch day machine died yesterday.

Having read about them... it seems a sure fire way to get one is in the Arcade.
There have been no elite jaspers sighted and VERY few premium.

Had one since christmas, runs damn quiet and never gets warm, hopefully it will last a long time

Ok well there's a couple of us on here so far so have there been any failures so far?
i was pleased to find that mine was one, as that was what i was after in the first place, just plugged my hard drive from my dead premium console and of it went sorted

not to sure as what to do with the duff one, maybe hit it with a very large hammer or somthing similar.

I'm not sure about here, but yes, there have been Jasper failures. The RRoD problem has nothing to do with the heat output or power usage of the CPU. Until Microsoft change either the way the chip is attached to the motherboard, and/or the clamping system used for the heatsinks, the RRoD will not go away.

Ok well hopefully there won't be as many failures,
one thing i have noticed that it runs a hell of a lot cooler. :cool:

and the main bonus is saving 53 watts.

i might sell my premium and replace with a arcade later.

My august made falcon runs the same temp as my friends jasper, well there's no noticeable difference anyway. also his jasper RROD after 3 weeks

i think an important thing is not to have your 360 stuck in the corner it needs to have good air circulation, my first 360 was an 06 model and was like an Oven can't believe how much cooler this new console runs, but as Memphis says "its more to do with the way the chip is attached to the motherboard, and / or the clamping system used for the heatsinks, the RRoD will not go away" you think that would be sorted out as well.
