Anyone managed to get Maple10 to install in vista? I've tried running as admin, using compatability mode etc, but it just seems to get stuck.

Apparently you are not the only one dealing with this problem. Personally I do use Maple 10 but only with XP. A quick google revealed that it might work with compatibility mode with WinXP SP2.

Tell us how you go!

for anyone doing a search, I found the answer

I switched the theme back to Windows Classic, and ran as admin XP SP2 compatability mode and it installed fine.

For some reason, the vista eye-candy was stopping it from installing.

Rebelius, I LOVE YOU. ive been trying to install Maple10 for ages now. my solution was to run a virtual PC of XP and run it in that. nowhere near as good as your solution

seems a pretty random solution, huh? just changing the windows theme stops it from installing completely.

It works fine though with the vista theme back on, it's just the install that doesn't work.
