Mapped drive not working

ok this has me massively confused. I have a small server on my home network which has a number of hard drives on it. I have mapped all the essential drives on all of the computers.

Its mapped to O: as \\<serverip>\data.

(dont ask why it is mapped to the server IP address its to do with a previous problem I have yet to fix!)

It worked on all of my computers with no issues and today my most used computer decided it does like the drive at all! it says the drive cannot be found. naturally I have checked that I can access the server by other means and all other drives work ok. I have re-created the share just incase, but that has not worked. Im at a loss here and dont know what else to try.

Any ideas?
 
Rebooting often solves my share issues. If it works on other PCs, then it's the client and not the server at fault.

Re the previous problem, sounds like a DNS issue. Presumably your 03 server is running DNS, and all clients point to this for DNS. Check that the name is listed correctly in the DNS.
