Hi all,

I have just bought a belkin external keypad like the below to use when playing poker on my laptop.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I want to map keys to it so I only ever have to use this keypad. In some external software I can change the keys to

/=check
*=call
+=fold
Enter=bet
and obviously use the number keys to enter values to bet.

However, in doing this it also changes the enter setting on my laptop keyboard to "bet" so I can no longer chat in game as it doesnt recognise the enter button anymore.

I want to map the enter key on the external usb keypad to something else that I am unlikely to use (such as page up or home) but cant find any software to do this.

Any advice on what I can do?

Usually with a gamepad they come with software which maps the keys..

Because this isn't specifically a gamepad, but a numberpad I'm not sure how you would go about it... There might be a round about hack, but I'm not sure how you'd do it.

I think the main problem with this is that the enter key on the keypad is recognised as the same key as the enter on my laptop keyboard. I need someway to tell windows that the two keys are two seperate enter buttons or to map a different key to the keypad button so it is no long an enter key

It's effectively acting like a secondary keyboard, I doubt there is a way in windows to change it to react differently. As windows will see either of them as the same key.

There may be a 3rd party app, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
