Mapping software/google maps API

I want to display multiple places (500+) on one map of england/uk.
With google maps API I think you can only add a max of one or two postcodes. Does anyone know of a way to show more places on one large scale map?

I'm pretty sure you can add more than one or two. Could be wrong though.

Thanks for the advice, I think google might be adding this ability soon and that frappr is a bit of a pain to use. I might try google earth
