Map's won't work

Hi all,

I cannot get Maps to load.

The icon is greyed out in the Start Menu - if I click it, it loads the Windows Store. If I search for Maps in the Windows Store, it says 'This app is installed'.

Any suggestions? How do I remove it and reinstall it? Can I even do that?

And now it's gone completely and I can't get it back :rolleyes:

Windows Store still says its installed :rolleyes:

Did you use the Powershell method to remove? Can you try Get-AppxPackage *windowsmaps* ?

I suspect a registry edit may be necessary to remove remnants of WindowsMaps.

I did use the powershell method to remove, yea.
