Marcy Gym Equipment

It will go pretty close it seems. from the pic on the main advert its incline position and has another notch to raise it.
Are you buying the whole package, or just the bench on its own?

270kg is a pretty good limit to have, so its pretty strong for a bench :]

I think it will go to 90deg but if not by the looks of that notch it will be very close as Morb has said.

some of the Marcy gear is OK..but if your a heavy user you might want to think about something more formidable as I dont think this will be the most stable piece of equipment (but thats only mmy thought). Probably very satisfactory to the average home weight trainer...and a decent starting kit.

I think I might have changed my mind on that bench. I'm planning on doing heavy squats and thinking more about safety especially at home.

Power rack: Bodymax CF375 Power Rack System (with lat/low pulley) / SEBR2434

http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodymax-cf375-power-rack-system-with-latlow-pulley.php

Possible benches:

- York Fitness 13 in 1 Utility Bench - http://www.connection-fitness.co.uk...nches_30/13_in_1_Utility_Bench/361/index.aspx

Or...

- Bodymax CF330 - http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk...ity-bench-with-leg-developer-and-preacher.php

I like the CF330 because of the leg developer and preacher but i'm not sure if the bench holds a good weight...i've tried looking around but cannot find any details. The York bench is 180kg which is more than enough for me.

Yes...the squat rack will be so much beter.

The york 13/1 bench and is quite a solid versatile bench...i have one in my garage and dont use any more. Id be happy to sell it to you for much less than stated above! Its in excellent condition still.

Okay thats good then. How essential is the leg developer because the York bench doesn't have it? Which exercises can be done instead to compensate for the loss of it?

Yeah I might be interested in taking that bench off you toxic :p Do you have MSN?

i dont like leg developers on beches...they tend to hurt my legs in the wrong way. I have a rack at home and do Squats, splits suats, barbell lunges, straignt legs dead lifts...that hits all the upper parts of the legs that leg extensions and curls do...even beter I think...I think others might agree.
Ye...Im on MSN... [email protected]

I like the benches and they appear very stable but the price is a little on the high side. Hoping to spend near the £125 mark max.
