Mario Kart Online down

Is the online for Mario Kart Wii broken for anyone else. For the last 3 days I haven't been able to log in. It stays on the 'Connecting to Nintendo WFC' screen then comes up with the error 'Network disconnected during data transmission'.

My wii is working fine online as I can still use the internet channel and shop channel just not Mario kart.

I wouldn't worry about it, when you do get online, you'll only be merked by a blue shell or such just before the finish line and not be able to win anything anyway.

Either that or some gang of pillocks will select rainbow road over and over and you'll eventually resort to throwing your TV out of the window to assuage the rage.

rainbow road is easy if you don't slide all the time , the crash bandicoot style one with the windy river and the pipe with a stream in it is my worst map

Just tried it now working fine but my bro said it was dead for a few days.

Just went under 2300 points.

They just started up the first online competition, and US release was recently, I'm guessing that's the reason behind the slow/unavailable WFC.

rainbow road is easy if you don't slide all the time , the crash bandicoot style one with the windy river and the pipe with a stream in it is my worst map

I love both those maps and sliding does help on those maps, you must just be crap with sliding
