Simple question, but it comes up on a lot of forms.

I have been married, i got divorced, i am now single with partner.

What would you put in a form Divorced or Single ?.

If there's no option for cohabiting then divorced (it doesn't really make much difference to be honest, you could put single, no-one would be any the wiser so long as it's not an application for a marriage license ;))

me and my g/f are engaged and have been together coming up 10 years, however we dont live together yet i always put co-habiting down on any forms.

either that or single in your case!

single imo - if you have been previously married or not is none of their damn business.

I am similiar to you and always put single.

Is this the application for a marriage license? If so, then you're definately 'divorced'. (What else would you be?). If its something else that doesnt involve legal matters (ie a job application) then you can put what you like I imagine.
