Already own dawn of war, and its two expansion packs.

Is mark of chaos any good from the pics it looks excellent, but if i remember rightly the reviews didnt give it that high. Maybe the patches have sorted it?
 
Have not got it myself, but it's made by a different developer than the Dawn of War games and is also in a total war style strategy from what I can see so very different to DoW so do not expect it to be good because DoW is.
 
saying that, the intro is abosoultey excellent although it can get a bit confusing during battles etc - graphically it aint that great eaither but its one of the few games of that genre that i played to the end - it wasnt too bad.
 
I also got DOW + WA + DC and nacherelee I got MOC too!

The thign is, that Winter Assault and Dark Crusade are, with the original, 3 of the WARHAMMER 40K lot.

Mark of Chaos is only WARHAMMER

Its also, as has been said already, done by different people.

Im very much into the WH40K-DOW games... Very much indeed.

But WH:MOC? - PAH!
 
Ive just bought off steam the Dawn Of War Platinum Edition, it comes with all expansion pack.

Also theres a new Dawn Of War Expansion pack coming out with two new races, The dark Eldar and Sisters Of Battle.

Also a new expansion pack for Mark Of Chaos, aint read nothing about it, just know theres one coming.
 
It's not rubbish. It's just not worth buying. Dull, uninspiring, not very tactical and not very long either. And the siege levels are just ridiculous, timed attacks on a fortification make no sense and the pathfinding in buildings is woeful, my archers spent entire missions running up and down the same flight of stairs.

But then, I'm a warhammer obsessive so I had to have it, and it's not totally bad. The old ones are better though. Do not under any circumstances buy the box set.
