Marks all over monitor screen?

Hey all,

Have a Dell U2414H screen which I thought was due a wipe to remove dust. However, after giving it a wipe over there are still marks all over the screen which look like dots everywhere. This is not the AG coating as its not uniform and is patchy in places.

Can anyone help?

What did you clean it with ?

Just a microfiber cloth!

Haha! I can't get my SLR to focus on it or I would have put some up! Going to try cleaning it with some weak soapy solution to see if that'll shift it!

tbh i wouldn't use weak soapy solution. just use water to make a slightly damp cloth

Try some monitor testing software to see if you have dead\dying pixels
