Marmite + Peanut Butter

Now this doesn't sound like a very likely combination... but try it on toast, it tastes amazing.

Yuck.

Now, burnt brown toast (proper bread) allowed to cool mostly, butter so it just starts to soften, peanut butter then bovril. Ohhh yeaaahhh, only ever have it when I go back to parents.

I'm southern and my pre jitsu sandwich is peanut butter, marmite and banana. Salty, sweet and nutty. Very good treat and great pre training.

I may give this a go.

My current breakfast favourite is cottage cheese (longley farm only, all other cottage cheese tastes like ass) with bovril on toast. Lovely.

I used to have peanut butter, jam and banana on toast.

Your right there. basically the same thing isn't it? I think I will try this tomorrow. Will report back.
As for Marmite and peanut butter I am unsure i don't really like Marmite but i will give it a try.

I've often wanted to eat peanut butter straight out of the jar with a spoon.

However, I feel it's uncivilised. Would you consider it a major breach of culinary etiquette?

No.

Raspberry Jam and Marmite is one of my favs. Not had it for a while.

also works with orange marmalade too !

Good. I will indulge. I dont know what I was worried about though. I have no problem squirting squirty cream straight into my gob from the can

Just had some. It's an acquired taste that definitely works; the marmite makes it very salty and tangy. Don't think I will have it again in a rush though....
