Just watched two Tony Jaa films - Ong-bak and Tom yum goong. Both brilliant with no silly flying fight scenes, more realistic style. Great chase/fight scenes.

Tom Yum Goong is a great chick flick, it has a elephant main story as well! :D

Highly recommended.

I thought Ong-bak was great

some of the fight scenes made me feel sore just watching, crazy elbow usage

Warrior King aka Tom Yum Goong > Ong Bak, it is SO much better! the fights are brilliant!

took 4 years to make that movie due to broke bones etc.

I actually thought Ong Bak was fairly over-rated. I thought the fights were pretty naff. Once you get over the fact that 'omg theyre actually hitting each other!' it's pretty dull.

ong bak > tom yum goong. the reason is that the fight scenes at the beginning of tom yum goong are too artistic and too similar to theatrical jackie chan scenes, the rest are more hardcore. in ong bak they are all hardcore and both are amoung my favourite films.

Have seen Ong Bak and watched about half an hour of Warrior King earlier on, the bit where he kicks out the street lamp in Warrior King is awesome.
