Marussia car crashed during testing

Oh god, surely he has more class than that?

edit: @ skeeter

No, the guy's actually a fool and I switch off when he's talking because it rarely makes any sense anyway.

I have no idea how he made so much money or managed to run a racing team for so long tbh.

He did alright when MS, de Cesaris, Irvine, Barrichello and then Hill/HHF were driving for him. After firing Frentzen it was virtually all downhill with paydrivers galore and little in the way of results. Fluke victory in Brazil 2003 notwithstanding.

Tom Walkinshaw was more of a ***** though among team managers (questionable financial practices started at Benetton, then there was the apparent clone Ligier and the Arrows saga).

The trouble with EJ as a presenter is his desire to have an opinion seems to take precidence over actually thinking about what he's saying.

It doesn't sound like de Villotas life is in danger any more, which is good news. I just hope she hasn't suffered any brain damage.

My cousin is blind and saying "Good to see you" or "see you later" or anything like that doesn't raise an eyebrow.

I think some posters are being a little silly

Yeah saying things that are just normal greetings isn't going to cause upset.

Its the temptation to go down the woman driver route that I'm more concerned about, and others on here appear to be heading down that path already.

Suggesting that someone could have lost their life, could have brain damage, and at the very least has lost an eye simply because she is a woman is completely unacceptable and unwelcome.

Mighty fine high horse you have there.

Its a comment making light of an accident  not exactly a child killer, some people need to get a grip of themselves.

Over-reaction much? He's absolutely right, some people are making ridiculous comments about women drivers and the like. You could say she was relatively inexperienced and that would probably be a fair comment, but saying this happened because she's a woman is unacceptable and not welcome here. It was a freak accident, not something that should really be joked about.
