Marvel Television’s VisionQuest

Really liked Wandavision, Agatha was...fine.

This looks really good.
I've just started watching 'Agatha All Along' in preparation for this in case there were links (they say it's a trilogy)

It's quite different to a lot of other Marvel stuff and a bit out there at times.

Most recent episode I saw, they were dressed in 70s garb and playing as a band to kill a generational curse.

Sounds rubbish! I'm gonna break the habit of a lifetime and watch the 1st and 3rd parts of the trilogy only and hope it makes some sense.

The episode schedule has been released. 2 episodes a week for the first 3 weeks and then the final 2 are weekly.

Watched the 1st couple. It's OK. Nothing groundbreaking. A robot that wants to understand humanity has been done so many times. Vision and Ultron are still great though. The other AI are a bit annoying.

Reviews I read suggested it would be quite confusing if you hadn't watched 'Agatha all along' so glad I did that recently
I didn't notice any references that I didn't understand so far just from watching Wanda vision. Might change in later episodes :D

Same thought Agatha was pretty irrelevant tbh. But that could be just me as i didnt really enjoy it that much.

Caught the first two last night, I haven't watched AAA and got the gist of what happened.

They do a pretty good job of getting the audience up to speed, almost like they expected people not to watch the 2nd series in the trilogy. :D

Presumably the reviewers meant later in the run.

Empire reviewer:

VisionQuest exemplifies something that’s become tricky for the larger Marvel franchise, which sometimes treats plot like a memory quiz, testing how much you’ve been paying attention over the years. This plucks from across the MCU, all the way back to Iron Man, in a way that’s quite clever in its tying together of disparate elements, and might be thrilling to dedicated fans, but is verging on hostile to the casual viewer. If you watched WandaVision, the Avengers movies and Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, you should be fine, though if you didn’t bother with, say, Agatha All Along, certain key moments won’t land. All the elements for a great time are here — if only it were less of a test of who’s done their homework.

I assume it's something to do with the end of Agatha All Along:

In Wandavision, Wanda created two sons; Billy and Tommy.

When the illusion/spell explodes as the end of Wandavision, it causes a car to crash in to a tree and a 13 year old boy sitting in the back is killed instantly. However Billy's consciousness slips in to the "empty vessel" (the boys body) and after 3 years of living as this kid, he goes on a quest to find his other Brother, Tommy.

At the end of Agatha All Along, he uses his power to find another empty vessel (a boy who was drowing) to re-direct or re-incarnate Tommy into
