Marvel Ultimate Alliance Issue...

does anyone own this game, i installed it and when i try to play it, the screen goes black (like other games starting up) then i get kicked back to desktop, anyone any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you checked if there are any patches that it needs? Also, are you using the latest drivers?

class, gamer-girl, good stuff

but yeah, running latest GFX drivers and there are no patches as of yet, its very new game, just double click MUA...black screen...desktop, sorta bummed

Did you install the latest DX9.0c that came with the game?

I've had a quick look into this for you, and it seems that virtual drive software causes problems for some people and the game won't even start. If you're running anything like that, make sure it's disabled, or if you have the installers handy, just uninstall them. I've heard of problems with virtual drives and stuff in games not getting along before, but I can't remember exactly what it was.
