Is this game any good is it like baldurs gate dark alliance on the ps2. How long does the campaign take and whats the multiplayer features besides co-op.

I liked it. I was never a big fan of comic books but its a really good game. I've heard a lot of comparissons between this and Baldurs Gate but having never played the latter I cant really comment. It took me a fair while to complete, dont do the game on easy though would be my tip. theres plenty of side missions and optional objectives as well. I think the game only has co-op, it doesnt seem like the kind of game that would suit other types of multiplayer really.

Crikey, you don't take much convincing!

Id love to see the next 20 posts say that its a waste of money and an extremely bad game :p

Ive only played it on a display unit at a high street retailer. Seems quite good for the 10 mins i played.

the character building is not as deep as balders gate, but the game is still a lot of fun man :)

wolverine ***

aye i have it its quite fun, i didnt think so at first but as soon as i got to the level where you are in like a fairground or something, it was ace lol :p

Another fan of Marvel:Ultimate Alliance here. Fun simple game, like people have said the character building isn't particularly deep or effective but that doesn't detract that much.

I was really suprised with how good a game it is. Ive not played it by myself normally play it co-op with my brother but its so much fun and there is so much too. Think we are half way through at the minute and still finding loads of new little things out.

Only thing i wasnt keen on is that there have been two instances when we have been stumped for a while going what are we meant to do here only to find out it was something really vague and not very clear :(

Tis good fun, with plenty of powers and options to play with.

Also you can unlock costumes, which each have their own upgradeable bonuses.

If you choose four characters who are a team in the comics (Fantastic Four, for example) you get a team bonus. You can also design your own team.

If you ever played and liked X-Men legends, this is more of the same but expanded and better.

At least 50 hours of fun to build up every single charcter. Quite shallow gameplay but so much fun.

You won't be disappointed.

good on him i say.

personally am sick of the threads entitled "tell me why i should buy this game" they should be entitled " i'm a lazy bugger, i can't be bothered to look at reviews on the internet and i can't think for myself".

Erm, plenty of people like to take notice of what their peers think of a game rather than rely on gaming reviews. You really need to get out more if people posting quite straight forward threads on an internet message board is getting to you.

Yeah its a top game this! and am i sexist in that i dont pick any of the female charaters in my team ha ha ha!

You will need to use Storm to do some of the comic book missions as she has a lightning attack that can be used from a distance. Also Ms Marvel is very powerful. Invisible woman is quite good if stealth is your thing as well.
