I recall reading a few weeks back that this might be the next title to get the HD Remix treatment. Dunno if that will mean new (balanced) gameplay or just new graphics.

Or it could just be an Arcade or older console port.

Always preferred the vs X-Men game myself.

I loved this game on the dreamcast, mainly because I like marvel characters. One of the few 2d fighters I'll play.

The main change in doing the HD remix was the game balance so if it is remade by the same people then it will be heavily tweaked for balance.

Thats how a lot to people felt when Castlevania SOTN got release on newer platforms.

Feel like pulling my Xbox 1 out and busting this game again, especially for the character select music

shame I cant find my Dreamcast version though

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's not. The dreamcast version is about 20:1 availability compared to the PS2 and Xbox versions. My DC version was £6 2 weeks ago, even though it's the far superior version.

Now i've watched the video a few times it looks a little dull to me. It appears the tactic to play as storm is to charge your meter with a combo that can't be touched and unleash 'super' attacks over and over in the hope it'll kill the enemy through chip damage.

The guy that looks like Magneto has two infinite combos, so once they're started the other guy just has to sit back and watch until their character dies.

Not a fan of juggle beat em ups wont be much fun when the first hit juggles til the end of the round.
+ every 2d fighter just feels so dated after sf4 now
