Marvell Controller when Start up

when I start up my computer it always says im running Marvell Controller Driver (some numbers) BIOS 1011 something. Even if I fully restore my computer by booting windows 7 off a USB it stays the same.

Is marvell the default driver for ASUS mobos/samsung sata drives because I want to reinstall a new one but that is always the same

I don't really understand computers all that well but what is the Marvell Adapter on start up, is there any way I can get a different one or is it there by default of asus

Basically I want a full restore of my computer and I'm quite obsessive over it. I was just confused to how I can get rid of this Marvell Driver Adapter was when you start up the computer and it comes up/how I can install another one.

My mobo is P8P67 LE

Its a Marvell® PCIe SATA 6Gb/s controller you cant disable them i believe heres a link read through it.

You can disable it, I disabled mine so it doesn't appear on start up.

Look for Marvell option in the BIOS and disable it.

did i install it manually or is it something that is factory with ASUS motherboards?

Its part of the board, Its possible your systems boot order is as such that it checks to see if it can boot from network 1st, and the hard drive second.
