Mass Effect 2 insanity tips

Eff knows why I picked this difficulty. I've been doing all right so far. Got to the "derelict" Collector ship and now trying to escape whilst EDI farts about. Anyone got any tips on how to survive the first platform battle? I have picked a sniper character, got the widow sniper.

Took Mordin and Miranda with me, both seem totally useless and end up croaking it with seconds. Should I have chosen someone else? Any tips, please?

I just gave up on doing it on insanity, far too hard

Your best bet would be youtube videos, i have seen many guides on there showing how to do it on various difficulties.

Well I managed to eventually do it by using Jacob and Grunt. I think that is the most difficult part of the game. So it might be reasonable as I get further. My controller came very close to being smashed though.

I also had to swap the Widow rifle back out for the Viper one. The lack of bullets (12 in Widow vs 60 in Viper) was more of a hindrance than anything.
