Well, I don't normally pre-order games, but am doing so with this - really just wanted to let people know there is a propular etailer with £29.99 pre-order price. Don't know where we stand on mentioning these people any more, so look around - though they are probably the largest by far.

Anyway, was just wondering, would I likely get this on release if I choose free delivery rather than First Class?

shame they havnt put the limited edition down a tenner too, i'll have to stick to paying full whack.

I'm pretty sure we can say the company name if it is mentioned towards a specific product. In this case Mass effect 2.

PC games aren't competitive to OCUK though, as they don't sell games (except three for console)? And considering this is about a game then i would think it would be fine?

Well, better safe than sorry :)

So, anyone know the answer to my question? Would I likely get it on release using their free delivery option, rather than first class?

Don't want to be waiting for this one - ME is one of my favourite games ever - but don't want to pay more than I have to either :)

I'm sure there free delivery is second class. Go to checkout and it should give you options of delivery and i'm sure it used to tell you the expected delivery time?

EDIT: Select Super Saver Delivery as your delivery method. The delivery time for Super Saver Delivery orders is 3 to 5 business days after dispatch.

Seems there free service is second class.

Well the saver option says upto 5 days, but, and I order there all the time, they seems to just post it as and when. You could be waiting a bit, but they're usually pretty good.

I've had stuff delivered two days before release day from there, using saver delivery. I guess it's hit and miss.

Ok, thanks. Will chance it, and if it aint here on release day will be get a copy on high street and send this one back.

And the other half is at work the weekend of release - awesome! Get the big(ger) screen and the sofa!

Argos has it for 29.99 also, with delivery for the 29th Jan (1st Class RM).

They also have Bioshock 2 for £29.99, with delivery for the 9th Feb (1st Class RM).

As far as im aware, for the Deluxe / Collectors Edition of ME2 there are; two sets of armor, a sniper rifle, an assualt rifle, bonus dvd with documentary video files (their phrasing), the soundtrack, a digital art book, the first issue of the ME2 comic and a subscription to the 'Cerberus Network' which is
an in game service available when you register with an EA account. Once enrolled you will have access to exclusive in game content and updates via an in game feed. An exclusive character will be available from day one and shortly followed by new weapons, worlds, etc.

All can be found with the EA Digital Deluxe version. But other retailers have only one/two/none of the extra things. Only Game seems to have the Cerberus Network bonus.

Have a feeling that the 'Cerberus Network' is going to be somthing similar to Dragon Age's DLC guy, who is in you camp and wont go away till you pay for his DLC.
