Played through the first mass effect amd thought it was a top game amd was wondering when mass effect 2 is due for release. Thanks steve

The delay between the PC and 360 release will be nowhere near as large as the first game was initially published by Microsoft only for the 360. Since then EA have purchased the development studio and as a result developed the Mass Effect port for the PC. Rumour is that Mass Effect 2 will be a either simultaneous or near simultaneous release for the 360 and PC this time around as EA are in ownership from the get go with a possible PS3 release in the future.

and to the OT, WOOHOO i didnt realise it was that close. Already considering quiting wow (again) because of modern warfare 2, this has settled it!
while were on the subject, anyone know something other than fallout 3, kotor, me, bioshock, oblivion i can play?

Jade Empire (Bioware) ?
Very different system - for all its polish, KOTOR is still basically a D20 system. Jade Empire is a very different RPG, though you're probably right about the engine.
Be prepared for the most poorly thought-out inventory system you've ever encountered. Also, take up knitting or something, so you'll have something to do while you're waiting for the elevators. Not joking.
Even with its few glaring flaws, still one of the better RPGs I've played in the last 3 years.
Deadspace - I was under the impression it was just a shooter... but i bought it anyway for the ps3 after hearing console controls suited it better.
Jade empire i did actually try to start playing (SE version) but i got to the point the pirates attacked and completely lost interest... rpgs usually grab my attention completely if i like them.
