Mass Effect 3 Graphics

Mass effect 3 looks almost the same as mass effect 1 and that came out in 2007 so..

Why does mediocre graphics make a game on the pc "bad"?

As I said in my summing up in the main ME3 discussion thread, it's much more of an interactive movie with a few combat sequences, compared to the previous two games.

With regard to graphics, nothing special though having just gome back to resume Saints Row 3, that makes ME3 look good. It's certainly no Skyrim though.

I didn't think much of the graphics in Skyrim (vanilla), tbh.

Exactly why I love it, this isn't Half life where it is a completely open world, it is more like being told a story and being able to play the sequences and decide on certain outcomes. Lots of games follow this and do it well, Uncharted2/3, GTA games, Metal Gear Solid games, Deus Ex HR etc. the end could definitely have been better but I think this the genre they developed the series into. I can certainly see why you would be disappointed if you wanted a true RPG tho, but hey there's Baldur's gate etc for that.
