I am also of the same opinion. Especially Wrex but i just dont see it happening with his role in the second game, i think his adventuring days are over, i could be wrong mind.

Well I see it that they were just saving him for the last game, so they didn't give him a big role in ME2 ;)

I just hope 3 is as good as 1 and 2. Although the trailer is nice it seems a bit too Dragon Age plot wise. Homeland under attack, go forth and rally an army to fight the enemy.

So my guess is you fly around the galaxy and recruit allied armies to fight the reapers. Not a bad idea but done in Dragon Age and to an extent in ME 2 with your squad.

Yeah, it's a bit similar to Dragon Age, but it was build up that way since ME1. And what else could they do? Let us find a magical device to kill all the Reapers without having to fight? I think there may still be some researching for Shepard to do until he is ready to fight the Reapers. Lots of possibilities to make the story interesting. Uniting the Geth and the Quarians could possibly be very interesting, also the Krogans and the Turians/Salarians.
