not sure tbh, but i guess il have to pay  its not the only disc either my oblivion disc was completly wrecked but i repaird that, also a few rentals i had got scratched :(.

its been back to them for this problem before but its now out of garentee.

i keep getting dirty disc errors too, but my disc isnt scratched, usually happens if i play it for a few hours then stop then play it again it happens about 30 minutes after that. it is very annoying especailly if i havnt saved in a while.:o

yeah i've seen a fair few people send back 360's with a obvious drive problem but get back a refurb or whatever with replaced motherboard.... CRAZY, lol

Which way round do you guys stand your 360, horizontally or vertically? I kept mine vertically when it moved to the other side of the room and got no end of disc read errors. No scratches luckily but it would get really annoying. Switched to keeping it horizontally and thats cured the problem for me.

ive had it both ways now, it was stood up till yesterday as i dont have much room next to the tv.

Gamestation do a disc repair service for £1.99. Doesn't always work, but worth a shot. Gonna go in and get my Forza 2 disc repaired next week.

Just to let you know mate I work in ********* Leeds, its in store and only takes a minute. We just have a buffer which takes a couple of layers off the disk, it actually works around 90% of the time too, never have any complaints.
