good question! As we are no longer being treated like criminals, I expect everyone who was going to download it to go out and fork out hard cash.

I wouldn't go that far. A lot of people will still pirate it, but only the ones who would have anyway.

EA/Bioware changing their minds has just reclaimed a lot of customers who felt annoyed.

Well it doesn't have to be now.

I mean there is still a CD key and one-off activation, which will no doubt be cracked, but the main worry is out of the way now. I can live with the compromise and won't be cracking my legal copy as you won't even need the disc in the drive.

isn't the whole point of spore you get worlds and stuff from other people?
I think you might end up with problems because its all out of sync

I am kind of disspointed you cant build armies to take over the other planets tho (i.e. get space faring, then allow you to recolonise instead of using the UFO)
