mass effect trailer 360

Looks awesome, just about to watch video.

Hopefully in this one they've fixed the dire dynamic shadows.

Characters are looking a bit rigid and there's obvious frame rate issues. However, they have a history of releasing good quality games and Mass Effect should be no different.

without watching the trailer (yet), Mass Effect is one of my most anticipated games, only overshadowed by Zelda - I know it's out, waiting till christmas - and Bioshock.

There were obvious frame rate issues in EVERY Gears of War video and preview prior to launch yet the game played without a hiccup.

one of my annoyances with 360 games using them, they always seem 'twitchy' and blocky etc, for example in ghost recon.

looks like a possible GoW killer :) thanks for flagging this one up - putting it straight on my "to-get" list.

As it's an RPG, doubt it'll be as enjoyed by as many people to be honest. I'm just hoping it's as good as it looks. It's something to keep my happy until KOTOR ever comes out.

Looks lame IMO.
It is more than just a shooter, as it's more a tactical RPG adventure game, that'll hopefully have an amazing, reasonably open story, especially as it's made by the makers of KOTOR and Jade Empire. Still, these types of games are never for everyone.

On the framerate note, I'm guessing it'll run as well as GoW does once it has been tweaked a little, as afterall, it is running on the same game engine.
