Ahoy,

I've nearly completed the first game but was annoyed that a certain big scaley guy died and I couldn't save him.

What I'm wondering is if when I start ME2 and chose a new profile, is he then alive or dead?

As far as I understand it you just get a default sort of story from the first game if you do.

He's dead in the default settings.
