I'm glad they've come out and confirmed publicly 100% that it will use your existing game save to continue the story. That and Shepherd isn't dead

I've changed xbox since playing mass effect 1 (and didn't transfer any saves). Although I won't mind playing as normal.

I think i'll make a perfect playthrough on mass effect again, will only take a few hours, i want to kill rex because he's a knob but he might be interesting in ME2... choices choices. Trailer has made me all giddy, was there a release estimate in it which i missed?

Williams was annoying. I killed her on boh my play-throughs.

I now have two characters, and but am not sure I want to continue with either. Rex is dead for my first character and my second character is a girl (mean cow) which I did just fon fun, and was fun for the pseudo-lesbian scene between my character and the blue alien (can't remember her name). Guess I will have to have another go at it closer to the time.

I am really liking the look of ME 2 from that vid. Though I really do hope they have fixed texture pop-in and frame rate.

The texture pop in, frame rate and slow loading times were pretty much non existant on the PC version which i assume is what is being shown here for ME2.

If you install ME1 to the HD then those issues are more or less removed. I'm playing through it atm with my old lv60 char and I've yet to notice texture popup.

Argh, I can't wait until 2010!
Just finishing off all the Achievements for Mass Effect, then I will do one last run through so I have an ideal savegame for the second installment.
All I hope for is that the planet exploration will be a little more interesting.
And Wrex better have some epic lines in this one as well.

I'm about half way through my 2nd play through, attempting Achievements, Think I will finish it, and play again just to get a perfect game.

I really cant wait for more mass effect. Need to salvage my save from my old Hard Drive I think as it looks like you can use your old save.
