Big graphics cards might take up 2.5 PCI-E slots these days. I was just wondering if they could make the coolers even bigger so they took up 4 slots.
Do you think that coolers could be that much bigger and still work and not break the card/motherboard?
It would increase the cost of making each card. Could it lower noise and improve temps?

Complete built in watercooling system would be good, if you don't mind all the other slots used up. But it probably works best to have the pipes coming out and having the other components bolted to the chassis.

I believe some of the aftermarket coolers with full 120mm fans attached can often take up 4 slots. It's probably not ideal for manufacturers to supply cards with 4 slots unless it's going to be enthusiast level. I know Asus used to do triple slot cards.
