Massive performance drop...

My computer has recently been running really slow, and I mean seriously slow. My spec is;

ASrock 939dual-SATA2
AMD 64 3200+
2 gigs Corsair Ram
Maxtor 300 gig HDD

I have OC'd, but I don't believe it to be the CPU, could it be the motherboard? Is it time to upgrade my MB and CPU? Thanks.

try putting it back to stock and see if it speeds back up

Maybe time for a bit of spring cleaning and do a format and clean install? Mine normally get messed up in less than 6months.
