Hi there

This is a sell rebate, so were selling below cost and the rebates will end on June 30th, of course like last time once it ends, well it ends and the last time AMD offered this was back in November, so you get the idea how long and far apart these promotions can be, so don't miss out this time, prices are not quite as good as last time as that is simply impossible unless we loose a lot of money simply due to the fact cost of product has gone up, mainly due to memory price increases:

It may not be as good as last time but these sell rebates happen rarely from AMD, last one was six months ago, so this time do not miss out if you were considering a VEGA this is as cheap as they will get as I suspect production has now been reduced or ceased whilst AMD work on 2019's project for VGA. :)

@ Gibbo or anyone else with knowledge, is the Sapphire VEGA 64 - 3 pin or 2 pin power?

Sure on the reviews I have seen 3 pin, but pic shows 2.

Also does the Gigabyte card have any LED RGB lights?

Sapphire is just two connectors.
Gigabyte has no RGB, does have a backplate.

An optimist might consider these discounts a prelude to something new being on the horizon come the end of June :p

Good deals again Gibbo, you must have serious Jedi negotiating skills :D

Well nothing from AMD most likely until sometime in 2019.
I think there were similar delusional thoughts on something new when they did the crazy deals before XMAS too, they simply do these promotions to increase sell out, there is plenty of vega inventory floating around so such promotions give a needed boost in sales.

Not "happy", the £350 for Vega56 and £450 for Vega64 I mention wasn't meant as the pricing for biting, but merely as the bare minimum price point that it would have be at to even have any remote chance of even worth "considering".

At the current pricing, it's not even at the price level that should even be considered, but should just be ignored after one look

Thankfully they are proving quite popular at these prices as 61 units sold so far today. :)

Yea but how many of the people bought them are gamers though...

There is clearly a few judging by the amount of single unit orders going through. :)
End of the day you may think the price is poor, but out there in the real world a Vega 56 at £450 and a 64 at £550 is typically around £100 cheaper than most competitors so in the grand scheme and current climate our pricing is fantastic on Vega. :)

Sorely tempted by a V64 for rendering. Ordinarily I wouldn't spend £500+ on a card, but it's the company's money not mine I guess. Is there much point opening a business account with OCUK?

Yes as though there will not be much discount if any of one single card, business users with good credit get accounts and of course certain items and systems do have much larger discounts available so it can certainly be worthwhile, especially if your placing large orders.

We do with a lot of big corporate companies now, in fact it is probably our largest growth area.

Great to be rid of Nvidia spyware in my system !! :)

Lovely card this, so much girth and length was worried it wouldn't fit ! xD

It is one of the major plus AMD do have, both Sapphire and TUL make great looking cards with their Nitro and Devil series products, also exceptional quality too.

These Sapphire units are nearly all gone unfortunately, I am going to discuss with Sapphire about getting more but they are saying probably won't be another batch until end of June and were down to less than 20 left now on these Sapphire Nitro which are proving rather popular at this price.
