*** MASSIVE PRICE DROPS ***

I have one of these already (9500) and it wasn't hard to install (compared to some of the socket A coolers I've prised into position!), and the temps are excellent, even for the original price.

Only bad thing is that it's not as quiet as my noctua cooler, but then, what is? It's pretty much silent.

just ordered the CNPS9500-LED but then i realised i dont have any thermal compound, can anyone recommend a good paste to buy?

Mate, the Zalman should come with some of Zalman's own thermal grease, or at least other Zalman coolers come with this stuff.

It is pretty good TIM as well, really easy to apply, and has no curing time neither, the bottle I got with my Zalman had a really handy little application brush with it, like a bottle of nail varnish, so it made applying the TIM a doddle.

However, if you still want to buy TIM, I recommend AS5 or MX3.

Couldn't resist it, so I bought the Zalman CNPS8700-NT, as someone said above, it's worth keeping for spares.
