Massive prints - Where do you get yours?

I have a few gallery/exhibition things to do down the line, and I also have a penchant for massive prints - got 18*12s and loved them, then got 30*20s and loved them - now that I'm getting a D800 I'll likely go even bigger for outcomes on my pre-U and sold images.

I see 60*40 is about as big as most places go, and I like DSCL's 295gsm poster paper, which at 60*40 is £60 (£50 for the cheaper stuff). Are there any places that will go larger than that (thinking around 3m*2m) without it being on a canvas and, as a result, obscenely expensive?

Even at 60*40 size, do you guys have any recommendations on who is good value and who does well on quality?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

I did some work at school (a good five years ago now), and did some A1 style stuff (I know this isn't large enough, but bare with me).

At the time, my parents (who got the printing done), went down to the local printing company, who had a massive industrial sized printer that would apparently print pretty much anything you wanted. One massive role.

I'd imagine that's the kind of thing you'd be looking for. Just not sure what to type into google to get that :)

Haha well I could check in my local area for photo printing companies but I doubt there are any local jobbies rather than photobox and the like. I'm sure I've seen massive prints at the national gallery and the like but never paid a huge amount of attention to what sort of prints they were. I might go back and enquire if I see the photo I'm thinking of.

Oh cool they do just over 2m for photo prints and they're not too expensive. I'll keep looking for massive ones as I have a wall to display on and it would be quite cool to fill it with one epic photo but that would need to be massive, then I get 30*20s or 36*24s as my "small" prints.

i know a company that does very cheap ones up to 50" , i shall ask them if they have a contact for bigger ones if you like ?
