Master & Slave on Crossfire

Hello,

A quick question.

I own the x1800xl card (HIS). I am saving up to get a mastercard to go with it. I just see that all the mastercards on the OC website say they require a compatable XT slave card.

I was under the impression that the x1800xl cards would work in crossfire mode with the x1800xt card as master.

As ATi are stopping production of the x1800xl range am I bu**ered or will the x1800xt mastercards work in crossfire mode with my current set up?
