Just finished watching it - not sure what to make of MW, one minute I'm thinking 'oh he's not so bad' and the next it's 'he's going to explode into a rage of **** any moment'

It's the cold dead eyes I think.

It's been a great series so far imo. The last episode was brilliant. Had heard about Mugaritz from Brian first hand. So inspiring.

I know who wins, but I'm not telling!

If Brian's still up here then it's not him! At which restaurant does / did he work?

All the finalists will get something good out of it, no doubt.

Regardless, the big restaurants in London will be finding out about these guys at the same time as us. The contestants are technically sworn to secrecy!

Some of the skills tests this year have been truly embarassing. Ketchup dressing instead of marie rose sauce...wow!

Few too many chefs to have in one episode and then to only eliminate 2. How many dishes can you taste and still appreciate? Will the last plates not have been sitting for ages?

Here's a little secret for you, the food's always cold when the judges taste it. With obvious exceptions, critics, restaurants, chefs table etc.

That's why the meats always look dry, the the sauces tend to be thick and gloopy.

Brian let me in on his technique; not to even bother having everything cooked at the right time. He cooked things, set them aside, then rubbed a little oil on whatever meat he was serving just before he plated it up!

Love this show. HATE Greg Wallace with a passion. Hate. With. A. Passion. He brings nothing to the party apart from numpty comments.

Agreed. My mate that was on the show hates him with equal fervour.

Had to switch it off last night watching Dalgleish. Was cringy, watch through the fingers kind of stuff!
