I've been asked for some advice and I don't have a clue 
Someone I know wants to replace their P4 3ghtz HT with 9800pro with an equivalent laptop. Needs to be able to play CS:S and World of Warcraft fairly well (as the desktop can in 1280 x 1024 with no slowdown)
They don't want an ultra gaming rig or anything, just something that will perform the same. Also, they'd like to spend around 1k on it (so Alienware etc are pretty much right out).
Any recommendations ?
The machine they have their eye on at the moment is the dual core Dell 9400 (1.83 ghtz) with 1gb and a 256mb ATI x1400 PCI:Express x16 for just over £950.
Can anyone suggest any better ? (or rate the X1400 chip against a 9800pro)
